The CoC is composed of representatives of organizations, including nonprofit homeless providers, victim service providers, faith-based organizations, governments, businesses, advocates, public housing agencies, school districts, social service providers, mental health agencies, hospitals, universities, affordable housing developers, law enforcement, organizations that serve homeless and formerly homeless veterans, and homeless and formerly homeless persons.

The Roman Catholic Church of the Diocese of Alexandria recognizes its obligation to bear witness to the charity of Jesus Christ, both in work and deed.

Motivated by Church teaching and acknowledging the need for highly trained professionals, the Church performs its mission of social welfare through Catholic Charities of Central Louisiana.

The Diocese of Alexandria and Catholic Charities of Central Louisiana serves and comprises 13 civil parishes: Natchitoches, Winn, Caldwell, Franklin, Madison, Vernon, Rapides, Grant, LaSalle, Catahoula, Tensas, Concordia, and Avoyelles.

With this first cool front and rain our clients will be in need of light jackets, hoodies, hats, gloves and sweat shirts.  Rain ponchos, chap stick, backpacks and duffel bags.  


GENTLY USED AND CLEAN OR NEW ITEMS ARE APPRECIATED.  


We are open 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, Friday after 12:30 p.m. the doors are locked for administrative work time, please call in advance if you would like to drop off then.
